MS Specialist Nurses

The framework has allowed nurses to look at skill mix and task delegation to free up specialist nurses to deliver the best care possible.

Pharmacy Technicians

Using the Calderdale Framework, Pharmacy Technicians have been trained to deliver medication therapy to inpatients so they can be discharged home, freeing up the Pharmacist’s time and helping technicians to utilise their skillset fully.

Urgent treatment Centres

Lower limb x-rays are a high volume task. The Calderdale Framework was used to engage with all key stakeholders, from Senior Clinicians to Staff  Nurse level. It was agreed that Triage Nurses can request these lower limb x-rays, freeing up Clinician time, reduce waiting times and significantly benefit patients.
